Welcome to On Ice

On Ice is a private training facility designed and built for the improvement of hockey players using real ice. Our qualified instructors are able to teach in small classes for individual attention. We offer a wide range of training choices to meet any skill level or age. We have been running goaltending and shooting lessons since 1998.

At On Ice we believe the more skills you have the more enjoyment you will have playing the game. We focus on individual skills to make each player the best that they can be.

We run league programs, coaches clinics, team shooting practices and goalie clinics. We are your hockey specialist in every sense of the word. We don't do anything else. Goaltenders may be our specialty, but we are so much more than goaltending.

We have a huge selection of new and used goalie equipment in all sizes. There are over a 100 goalie masks to chose from and a great selection of sticks. We are well stocked all year long, not just in the prime hockey season. We have it when you need it or we will get it in right away.

Goal tending Instruction

Our goalie lessons are based on position, movement, recovery, focus and conditioning. We teach a fundamental base for goalies to allow their natural style to shine. We are open minded when it comes to stopping a puck. Keeping the puck out of the net is the #1 rule of any goalie at any level. The standard save we teach is still the butterfly, but we stress that the save must be made to the puck. This means a goalie should not drop, they should know where the puck is going and make the proper save that will control the puck after the save. We have had great successes over the years and whether you are a young beginner, an older goalie wanting to update your skills or a pro getting ready for the season, we are here for you.
